Itinerary

1

Islamabad

Faisal Mosque

    • Built in 1986, funded by Saudi Arabia. It’s designed like a Bedouin tent, NOT a traditional dome mosque.

    • It’s huge, can hold over 100,000 worshippers at a time.

    • Beautifully set against the Margalla Hills — perfect for photography.

    • Tip: Non-Muslims can visit respectfully but must dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered).

Daman-e-Koh Viewpoint

      • A midway viewpoint in Margalla Hills National Park.

      • You can see the entire Islamabad city layout from here, including the Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake, and sometimes even Rawalpindi if it’s clear.

Pakistan Monuments

  • The monument itself is shaped like a blooming flower — symbolizing Pakistan’s unity.

  • Inside the museum, you get a brief history of Pakistan’s journey (from Indus Valley to independence).

Great for quick cultural education.

Lok Virsa Heritage Museum

  • It’s like walking through Pakistan’s cultural diversity.

  • Each province is represented with their music, houses, crafts, and clothing.

  • If you love culture and tradition, you’ll enjoy this. It’s colorful, lively, and very photo-worthy.

2

Islamabad - Peshawar - Islamabad

(Leave early from Islamabad — about a 2-hour drive on M-1 Motorway)

Bala Hisar Fort

    • An ancient fort originally built by the Mughals, rebuilt by Sikhs.

    • “Bala Hisar” means “high fort” in Persian.

    • You’ll get panoramic views of Peshawar city.

It’s operated by Frontier Corps — sometimes requires permission to visit inside.

Sethi House (Sethi Mohallah)

  • A stunning 19th-century mansion, built by a wealthy trader family who traded with Central Asia.

  • The architecture is unique — influenced by Persian and Central Asian styles — colorful stained glass windows, wooden balconies.

This house shows the prosperity of old Peshawar.

Namak Mandi

  • Famous traditional food street.

Try Peshawari Lamb Karahi — cooked only with meat, fat, and salt — no tomatoes or spices. Pure flavor!

Qissa Khwani Bazaar (“Bazaar of Storytellers”)

  • Oldest and most iconic bazaar of Peshawar.

  • In ancient times, traders from all over Central Asia stopped here to rest and tell stories.

Today, it’s a chaotic, colorful market full of dry fruits, carpets, fabrics, and tea shops.

After the Peshawar city tour you will continue drive back to Islamabad, before Islamabad, we will visit Taxila Museum, arrive Islamabad and transfer to the hotel.

3

Islamabad - Lahore

(Drive or fly to Lahore early morning — it takes about 4-5 hours by road)

Badshahi Mosque

      • Built by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1673.

      • It’s massive — second-largest mosque of the Mughal Empire.

Pure red sandstone and marble work — breathtaking!

Lahore Fort (Shahi Qila)

  • Across from Badshahi Mosque.

  • Originally built in the 11th century, heavily expanded under the Mughal Emperors.

  • Key attractions inside:

Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors)

Minar-e-Pakistan

  • Near Lahore Fort.

  • A tower marking where the Lahore Resolution was passed in 1940 (which led to Pakistan’s creation).

4

Lahore - Destination

Shalimar Gardan,

  • Built by Emperor Shah Jahan (the guy who built the Taj Mahal).

  • Three terraces of gardens, fountains, and marble pavilions.

  • UNESCO World Heritage Site

Explore Wazir Khan Mosque, famous for intricate tile mosaics and frescoes, a jewel of Mughal architecture hidden in the old Walled City.
